We offer in‑store alteration services for selected UNIQLO bottoms (jeans and trousers only).

  • Altered items cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • In‑store alterations are available only for selected bottoms.
  • Eligibility depends on the product design and will be confirmed in store.
  • This service only shortens the length of bottoms.  
  • Tapering and other alterations are not included.
  • Alterations are available only for UNIQLO items.
  • Alteration fees are non‑refundable.
  • Altered items must be collected in store within the stated collection period.
  How in‑store alterations work

You can request an alteration when purchasing eligible bottoms in store, or by bringing a previously purchased item (including online orders) with proof of purchase (e.g. receipt, email invoice, or order confirmation).

  • Advise on the available stitch options
  • Let you know when your item will be ready for collection

Altered items are collected from the same store.

  Stitching options

The stitch options available depend on the fabric and design of the product.
If a stitch option is not available, it is not suitable for that item.

Visible stitch

  • A standard stitch visible on the inside and outside
  • Suitable for most casual bottoms

Hidden (blind) stitch

  • Nearly invisible stitching for a clean, tailored look
  • Recommended for dressier styles

Important:

  • lease note that the original hem will be removed and the fabric cut, after which a new hem will be created to the selected length.
  • While our teams take care to match the original product finishing closely, the thread colour may not exactly match the original, and the altered hem may differ in appearance from the product´s original finish.
  • The type of stitch used for the alteration depends on the material and design of the product.

Minimum length:

  • Visible stitch: 1.5 inches
  • Hidden (blind) stitch: 2 inches
  Alteration time & pricing

How long does it take?

  • Same‑day service may be available, but cannot be guaranteed.
  • Some items may be ready from the following day.
  • A staff member will confirm the collection time.

Pricing:

  • Visible stitch – Free for bottoms 19.90€ and above / 3.00€ for bottoms under 19.90€
  • Hidden (blind) stitch – 3.00€

Alteration fees are non‑refundable.

  Collection & Online orders

Collecting your item:

  • You have 7 days from the collection date shown on your receipt
  • Items not collected may no longer be available and may be recycled

Online purchases:

Yes, online purchases can be altered. Please bring your item(s) and invoice.

Click & Collect:

  • You must collect and open your package in store
  • You may be asked to try on the item to confirm the length

  • Can altered items be returned or exchanged?

    No. Altered items cannot be returned or exchanged.

  • Can the same item be altered more than once?

    No. Once an item has been altered, further alterations are not available.

  • Do you alter items from other brands?

    No. Alterations are only available for UNIQLO jeans and trousers.

  • Can older purchases be altered?

    Yes, with proof of purchase and if the item is clean and washed.

  • Can altered items be delivered?

    No. Store‑altered items cannot be delivered to your home and must be collected in store.
